On behalf of the Computer Science departmental staff I would like to welcome you to the department.
The Computer Science Department is dedicated to quality education and research. We offer highly qualified computer software and hardware laboratories. Our students and our graduates are highly proficient in using computer in a modern way to solve problems and also upgrade the efficiency of computer usage in our community and in the world at large. The Department offers National Diploma and Higher National Diploma Programme. The objectives of the programme are to:
- Solve simple hardware problems
- Use various programming languages
- Know the Operation of Computer systems
- Use Computer packages
- Maintain hardware
- Install and manage a Computer system.
- Design and run efficient programmes in a wide spectrum of fields, and in various languages.
- Advise on the installation and management of Computer facilities.
- Detect technical faults in a Computer installation.
- Carry out routine (preventive) maintenance of Computer facilities.
