It is with great pleasure and privilege to welcome you to the Edo State Polytechnic and to the Department of Mass Communication. The department is a powerful nexus made up of world-class lecturers that are innovative, creative and quantitative in terms of teaching and research. As part of our effort to train student to be expert thinkers and managers in our globalised society, our courses contents and programmes are aimed at student acquiring skills and knowledge that will aid your competence and leadership potential in media industries and other field. To this end, the Department executes a practical-centred programme in three sequences i.e. Online and Print Journalism, Broadcast Journalism and Advertising sequences.
Whether your goal is to become a mass communication practitioner, a media critic, or to pursue graduate study, Edo State Polytechnic Usen; Department of Mass Communication is the ideal place to begin your journey.
