I am very proud to be Dean, School of Environmental Studies, Edo State Polytechnic, Usen an institution increasingly recognized as second best of the Nigeria’s Polytechnics.
There are five departments in School of Environmental Studies. These are as follows;
- Building Technology
- Estate Management
- Quantity Surveying
- Surveying and Geo-informatics
- Urban and Regional Planning.
- Architecture
These departments enjoy accreditation National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).
School of Environmental Studies rise to prominence over its first 5 years of existence. This is as a result of many factors: the contributions of talented and dedicated staff; the energy, enthusiasm and inventiveness of graduate and students; the dedication and support of excellent staff.
School of Environmental Studies is a high- research school, a diverse and welcoming community, with a beautiful landscape, which fosters an institution-wide commitment to the environment. It is big enough to have an international presence and impact, yet small enough that students are able to develop a strong sense of community and lifelong connections with friends and mentors.
